Our Story
Hello, my name is Steve Tallman, owner of This Guy's BBQ. I grew up watching my dad fire up the grill for our family, and those moments taught me lessons that still shape how I cook today. My desire is for people to experience barbecue the way I did so many years ago. That's why I started This Guy's BBQ, to share the love of slow-smoked meats and southern hospitality that I grew up with. Welcome and enjoy the barbecue!

Food Trailer
The food trailer is available for private rentals—perfect for events, parties, or gatherings that need a little extra smoke and flavor. Beginning in
January 2026, This Guy’s BBQ is serving exclusively from the food trailer. The Franklin brick-and-mortar restaurant will transition into a full-time commercial kitchen to support the truck. This shift allows us to focus on mobility and efficiency—bringing our smoked meats and homestyle sides directly to where our customers are, while still keeping the same quality and flavor
people know and love.
